I couldn't help but said I would find out and let them know. Promises ... Promises ... Checking back issues of Radcom came to very little as did asking other local packet operators. It came as a surprise that if one was to venture on to a new band it would be very difficult to find information as to where to call and work packet. Below I have tabulated the information that I have managed to find about different bands which really does not amount to much. It strikes me that there is a lot of information about this mode that is kept a closely guarded secret or that nobody wants to share with others. Perhaps that is a little harsh because I know that the likes of BARTG do good work to spread the gospel and although I have not seen it the new publication by BARTG, 'Beginners Guide to Packet Radio', may go a long way to help newcomers. May I ask that, if you can fill in the gaps or correct wrong information that you let me know so that sometime in the future I can put out a frequency table that will be of help to others.
