The QuickTime VR program and the program for saving QuickTime format files must be installed together to save images in the QuickTime VR format. ============ 2. Problem Displaying QuickTime VR Format Images after QuickTime is Uninstalled Merged image files can still be saved in QuickTime VR format even after QuickTime has been uninstalled because one portion of the QuickTime program is not removed by the uninstall procedure. However, an error message will appear when an attempt is made to view the saved files because the required viewing software, MoviePlayer, has been removed in the uninstall procedure. Reinstall QuickTime to view files saved in the QuickTime VR format. ============ 3. Solution to Printing Issue with the Canon Digital Printer CD-200 A portion of the image may be lost when printing from Viewer or 360Viewer to a Canon Digital Printer CD-200. To work around this, click the [File] menu in either program, select [Options], and increase or reduce the printing resolution by a number ranging from 1 to 20 dpi before printing. ============ 4. Recommendation for Displaying and Processing Large Images with the Viewer and 360Viewer Programs It may take some time for the Viewer or 360Viewer program to start when you attempt to display a large image from the PhotoStitch Launcher or PhotoStitch program. The printing dialog may also take some time to appear and it may operate extremely slowly when you attempt to print a large image from the Viewer or 360Viewer program. This problem will be more pronounced on systems with relatively few memory resources. You are recommended to view or print large images on a system with ample memory resources. ============ 5. Merging Images Shot with a Tele-converter or Wide converter Lens Images shot with a tele-converter or wide converter lens on the camera cannot be merged correctly in PhotoStitch. Please avoid the use of these lens to shoot images that you wish to merge with PhotoStitch. ============ 6. Windows XP and the Fast User Switching Feature This program has been confirmed to run with Windows XP, but does not support the Fast User Switching feature in Windows XP. If you use the Fast User Switching feature while using this program, it may not operate correctly. To avoid problems, you are recommended to close this program before using Fast User Switching. ============ 7. Cannot synthesize image under focus distance of 20mm (in terms of 35mm film) Images under focus distance of 20mm (in 35mm film parlance) cannot be synthesized in this software. Shoot with focus distance of over 20mm. ============ 8. Cannot invoke help file If the help file cannot be invoked, pleae install Internet Explorer 4.01 SP1a or higher. You can get the latest version of Internet Explorer from Microsoft web site.
