Shooting with Cameras that Support Image Display =================================================== If you connect to a Canon camera that can display images on its LCD monitor or output them to its Video Out terminal, you can remotely select the camera's output mode from RemoteCapture Task at any time during the connection. Note: Please note that images in the camera's LCD monitor and Video Out output only reflect the optical zoom and not the digital zoom when the digital zoom is adjusted. Please use the viewfinder display in the RemoteCapture Task's Window when setting the digital zoom. 2. Shooting with the Camera's Shutter Button ============================================ You can remotely shoot an image by pressing the Release button in the RemoteCapture Task's screen. You can also specify image settings in RemoteCapture Task, but shoot the actual image by pressing the camera's shutter button. Note: The delay between the pressing of the camera's shutter button and the actual shooting of the image is slightly longer when the shutter button is used in conjunction with RemoteCapture Task than when the camera is used entirely by itself. 3. Windows XP and the Fast User Switching Feature ================================================= This program does not support the Fast User Switching feature in Windows XP. If you use the Fast User Switching feature while using this program, it may not operate correctly. To avoid problems, you are recommended to close this program before using Fast User Switching. 4. AF Lock and Macros ===================== Macro settings can become unstable if you unlock the auto focus. If this happens, you should check your macro settings again. 5. Uninstalling RemoteCapture Task ================================== RemoteCapture Task can be removed from the computer with the following procedures. - Click the Windows [Start] menu and select [Programs], [Canon Utilities], [RemoteCapture Task] and [RemoteCapture Task Uninstall]. - The program will uninstall itself.
