1. Installing MovieEdit Task

MovieEdit Task is used to edit movie images shot with a Canon 
Camera. It is launched from ZoomBrowser EX.
ZoomBrowser EX version 6.8 and higher support MovieEdit Task.
Make sure that ZoomBrowser EX version 6.8 or higher has been 
installed before installing MovieEdit Task.

If you install MovieEdit Task on Windows XP or later, you will be
able to use MovieEdit Task, MovieExport Task and MovieFrame Task.


2. Images not supported by MovieEdit Task

MovieEdit Task and Movie Export Task do not support the following 
images.
- RAW images
- Images larger than 6,000 x 6,000 pixels
- Images smaller than 50 x 50 pixels


3. Note regarding movie editing

MovieEdit Task requires an extremely high processing capacity to 
process movie images.
Depending on the processing power of your computer, you may
experience stilted action and disjointed sound when previewing
movies. However, the actual file itself is unaffected by these
problems and will be saved normally.
If the action in the preview is stilted, try reducing the [Preview 
Size] in [Task Environment Settings].

When using a large amount of images, the amount of available memory 
will decrease, and you may be unable to preview or to save.
In this case, decrease the image size or reduce the number of images 
you are adding to the storyboard and try again.

Moreover, on a PC on which an audio device cannot be used, the 
Preview and Save operations may not function properly.
In this case, you should make an audio device available.


4. Saving images

There must be enough disk space available in order to use 
MovieEdit Task, MovieExport Task and MovieFrame Task.
When you save images, you should make sure that there is enough 
space on the disk that you are saving to.
If you try to save an image to a disk that does not have 
sufficient space, you may not be able to finish saving the image, 
or you may not be able to save it properly.
Moreover, if the image size is large or the frame rate is high, it
may take an inordinate amount of time to save. Take care 
especially when saving using an image size of 640x480 or larger.

Depending on the relationship between the original file and the 
save image type, the sound quality may be degraded and noise may 
be apparent.
If this happens, change the setting for sound type when saving 
and save. 


5. Note regarding [Temporary Save Location]

(1) If there is too little space available on the drive set as the
    [Temporary Save Location] in [Task Environment Settings] in 
    MovieEdit Task, you may not be able to finish saving the 
    image, or you may not be able to save it properly.
    In this case, change the [Temporary Save Location] to a drive 
    with sufficient space available.

(2) If you delete a temporary file created in the [Temporary Save 
    Location] set in [Task Environment Settings] in MovieEdit 
    Task, you may not be able to preview it or save it properly.
    Do not delete a temporary file while running MovieEdit Task.
