AODI guidelines. Edited By Dennis Slagers Please ensure that you have an AODI subscription with your PTT and / or Internet Service Provider. Please follow the step below to setup AODI parameters 1. Install ISDN driver into Win98 (If you want to use Win95, please upgrade your Dial-up Networking to Version 1.3) 2. Open Start->Setting->Control Panel->System->Device Manager->ISDNLink->ISDNLink PC Adapter->Setting. 3. Please Press "X.25/AODI" button. 4. Check X.25 D-channel item and select TEI value (The TEI value is depend on your switch provider) 5. If your server support callback function, please check CallBack Enable item. When you check this item, please keyin your ISDN Subscriber Number also. 6. Please enter your X.25 Local address. 7. Enter LCN number into X.25 Lowest LCN number field. (This LCN number is depend on your X.25 switch) 8. Press OK button on all previous window to exit setting. 9. Windows will ask you to re-boot system and you have to re-boot the system. Please follow the step below to create a modem for AODI 1. Create a new modem from Start->Setting->Control Panel->Modem. 2. Please don't use auto-scan to find modem and you should select on from modem list. 3. On modem list you can select any standard modem (ex. Standard 28800 modem, Standard 33600 modem....) 4. Enter ATB80 into Extra setting of Modem Properties. Please follow the step below to make a Dial-up Networking icon 1. Please make a new DUN connection. 2. Select a device from list. This device is made by you before. 3. Enter your X.25 remote address into the field of Telephone number. 4. After you make a new DUN connection, please change your Microsoft IE to use this DUN connection. You can double-click on this new DUN connection to make an X.25 call for AODI. This connection will always on until you disconnect it. When you open Microsoft IE, the PPP data will send into D-channel and B-channel will be added depend on throughput. Additional AT-command for throughput setting is follow: ATS55=nn nn is percentage of data-flow for increase B-channel. The value is from 1% ~ 100%. The default value is 50%. ATS56=nn nn is time duration of high data-flow for increase B-channel. The value is from 1 sec. ~ 1200 sec. The default value is 10 sec. ATS57=nn nn is percentage of data-flow for decrease B-channel. The value is from 1% ~ 100%. The default value is 50%. ATS58=nn nn is time duration of low data-flow for decrease B-channel. The value is from 1 sec. ~ 1200 sec. The default value is 60 sec. You can also enter those AT-commands into Extra Setting of Modem Properties.
